The Department of Radiology is one of the most advanced and prestigious departments of hospital. It helps in accurate diagnosis of patients and is open round the clock. CT Scan, Digital X-Rays, Ultrasound, Colour Dopplers, Special scans facility etc. are available in the Department. It is equipped with:
- SIEMENS EMOTION DUO Multi-Slice CT Scan machine.
- GE Logic C 5 Premium Ultrasound machine.
- Digital X-ray machine with AGFA CR System.
Apart from these fixed types of machines, hospital is also equipped with Portable X-Ray and Portable Ultrasound Machines duly registered with AERB and PC & PNDT authorities.
All routine and special investigations are done in the Department. 24 Hrs. the facility is available for all routine abdominal ultrasonography, antenatal sonography for abnormalities in developing babies, ovulation monitoring, paediatric and neonatal sonography.
A number of invasive procedures like aspiration of liver abscess, pleural & ascitic tapping under USG guidance are carried out. Ultrasound-guided surgical and gynaecological procedures in operation theatres & other indoor areas are done with portable bedside ultrasonography machine.
